At Bright Pages, we believe that businesses ought to be active members of their communities, whether locally, nationally or globally. We seek to participate in our community and to partner with other people and groups who are working to make our community a better place. So far, our community involvement has included the following:

Local

  • Internship program: create opportunities for employees to explore the fields of web design and software programming.

  • Volunteer vocational training: enable high school students to gain firsthand experience in technical roles during their summer placement.

  • Habitat for Humanity: time provided during company hours to encourage community service in participation with charitable organization Habitat for Humanity.

National

  • From Jacksonville with Love: FJWL was a grassroots movement to assist those offering support in disaster hit areas following hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

  • Nola Shines: Bright Pages' staff returned from their experiences in New Orleans with FJWL (see above) determined to continue their support for that great city. To this end, Bright Pages is offering its services free of charge to affected New Orleans' businesses. In this way, we hope to support them in their work reshaping the post-Katrina cityscape.

International

  • From US With Love: FUWL evolved out of the work of FJWL and extends Bright Pages' charitable work to South Africa, with the goal of empowering women and children.
